Today, I'm having a great writing session. I'm working on my book about my life as a musician's wife and took a break to blog. It's amazing how I've been able to clearly see the handiwork of God orchestrating the details of my life. I've been reminded several times today as I penned excerpts in different chapters of God's sufficient grace and provision.
One point in particular is my girls. I was pregnant with my baby girl, who is now 15 when Marvin began full-time ministry and my oldest is 17. I recall how difficult it was when they were small with him being away from home so much. It took me years to find my rhythm. My continual thought process was, "I did not sign up for this," but in actuality, I did when I told God I wanted His will. Everything I endured wasn't His will, however, He found a way to make it all turn out for my ultimate good.
Marvin is currently playing in Spain. While I miss him, I know he's doing what he loves and was created to do; be a minstrel in the Kingdom of God. I've come a long way by being able to say that.
Now, back to my writing session. I believing this book that God laid on my heart to write will be a blessing to many.
