Currently, Marvin is traveling with an international artist named Lilly Goodman (www.lillygoodman.com) from the Dominican Republic. Shortly after the Lord healed him, he asked God to open a door to play and travel again...which he loves to do. I don't believe it was even a week before the call came in from a friend of his that knew Lilly was in need of a drummer.
He has played for many artists over the years, but this is the first international. With that, all of his travels are to other countries. This year alone he's been to Spain, Panama, Peru, and is heading out to Bolivia today.
Lilly was in Houston last month, and the girls and I had the opportunity to attend the concert. It was the first time I've ever sat through anything bilingual. With the exception of a few "Amens and Hallelujahs", I didn't know what was being said or sang. However, the exciting part was to see my sisters and brothers in the Lord worship God in their language, praise dance they way they do, and still feel the anointing from the same God. AMAZING!!!
After over 20 years in the industry, we're still experiencing new things. I believe there are still doors that may not have been opened for your husband yet. Artists that you don't even know exist. Opportunities to minister in music have yet to be revealed.
Whether your husband is playing the drums for someone who speaks English or any other language, at the end of the day, he's a minstrel and God's opportunities are limitless. SO TAKE THE LIMITS OFF. He has things in place for your family that you know not of. Think outside the box and watch God open doors.
Kim,
ReplyDeleteAnthony and I just read your post together. And we know that God just used you too confirm somethings for us.
We just prayed, and sent a special prayer over you, Marvin and the girls..that He would continue to restore to you all that you have sacrificed, and watch the fruit of your labor be manifested. Bless you!!
With love,
